Carolyn Jean Stewart

Carolyn went to the Lord on October 23, 2009 after a short illness. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31st, at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 542 Hickory, Abilene, Texas, with Pastor Mike Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Buffalo Gap Cemetery.She was very devoted and loved her family, friends, and her children she taught at Hubbard Heights Elementary School in Ft. Worth, Texas. She was very passionate and generous with participation in the school Angel program at Christmas time or always helping people in need. She will be greatly missed by all.She is survived by her loving son, Joey Stewart and wife, Torre; her dad, Howard Bancroft; brother, Will Otto and wife, Dana; sister Patty Ricker and husband, Dale; aunts and uncles, Buster Letcher and wife, Kaye, Sonny Letcher and wife, Jo Ann, Laura Sturm, Carol Dilworth and husband, John, Lois Cocco and husband, Gary; several cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and her beloved grandchildren, Zade, Aaron, Jaxon and Ian.She was preceded in death by her daughter, Gina Danae; her loving mother, Dorothy Bancroft; father, W.
