I was stationed with Chuck at Rota Spain 77-80 and knew him and Anne quite well. They were both fun to be around and we shared some interesting experiences while living in Spain, including participating in a bullfight!  Rest in peace, my friend and shipmate.

Chuck was an amazing grandfather. I loved him very much. when Grandma Anne couldnt do something like take me somewhere, Chuck did.  I felt an honor shaking a hand of a sailor,  I miss him very much.  RIP Chuck,  one of the best grandpa I knew

Chuck was the best brother in law anybody could ask for.Never judging,or critical and always gave wise advice.Having known him since we were 15 he possessed. maturity beyond his age. He gave his all in every job and task that was set before him.And because of that he derived joy. He gave his best to his country,community and his family.I shall miss the sound of his voice and upbeat spirit whenever I called.I shall miss our walks around the neighborhood.Michael always talks about the time he took him to tour the Air force Base.He was an inspiration to all of us in life and death.Until we meet again,my brother.

Chuck was a great sailor, leader and Master Chief Petty Officer. He will be missed by me and his many shipmates. Rest your oars Chuck, we have the watch. Fair winds and following seas.

Chuck was special, He experienced great success in a full Navy career in one of the most demanding rates, advancing to the highest rank in the quickest time possible. . He was a great leader, with a pleasant happy personality, a quick wit and super intellect. - He  had genuine empathy for others and had the gift of wise counsel.  He was a proud Sailor and veteran and a true patriot.  But his greatest pride was his family and he often talked of Anne, Chris and Jason and their families and always with unabashed pride.  He was a special to so many people.. I am privileged to be among those who called him friend and shipmate. Rest in Peace - Memory Eternal.

I'll continue missing you, until we meet, again, upstairs.  You were a good man, Chuck; and, there's no replacement for you; RIP my friend.
