She was born on October 27, 1935 in Royston, Texas to the late Jack and LaRue Reeves. She attended school at Roby and Hobbs, Texas. She worked at T.S. Lankfords and made military uniforms. She also worked at Masters, Abilene Reporter News and retired at Buds Ceramics. In 1985 she married Robert Evans in Abilene.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters, three brothers, a nephew and a great nephew. She is survived by two sisters, Betty Mauldin and Glenda Mangrum and husband Eddie, all of Abilene and a number of nieces and nephews.
Her nephews and a brother-in-law will serve as pallbearers.
