Eugenia (Ginger) Rose Morgan went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 21, 2023 after a battle with cancer. Ginger was known for her smiles, hugs, joy and love for everyone. She is survived by husband Mike Morgan, daughters Joni Escudero and Jenni Roemisch, grandsons Luke and Ethan, and many other family members and friends.
She was a devoted wife, Mom, Grammy, daughter, sister and friend. She spent her working life devoted to children as a teacher’s aide up until retirement and then as a teacher at her church’s Children’s Day Out program. She loved her church, singing in the choir, and fellowshipping with all. From city life to ranch life to traveling on a Harley, she was always open to adventure. Ginger will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
The family wishes to thank all those who helped us and Ginger in this time. Your support has meant the world to us all. Memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2:00 pm, at Pioneer Drive Baptist Church, 701 S. Pioneer Drive in Abilene.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hendrick Cancer Center or Hospice of the Big Country in Abilene.
