I loved Aunt Ruth so much, she was a wonderful lady…..she was so good to my mom and dad, her husband George Caffey was my mom’s brother…Aunt Ruth used to pick up mom and dad and take them on outings on a regular basis, as mama never drove and daddy had given up driving long ago when he became legally blind…. she was such a loving yet funny lady, so much fun and laughter when she was around.. I miss her.

Aunt Ruth was one of the sweetest women I have known. She loved to laugh and always saw the good in everything. She loved her coffee black and her coffee cake sweet. I missed her so after she went to Florida, and I tried to make sure she got something "Sweet from Texas" during the holidays. I can still hear her little giggle in my mind. I am so grateful for the time I got to spend with her. From the first day I met her, she was so very kind to me. I will never forget her. 

I have so many wonderful memories of Aunt Ruth,  she was the sweetest, kindness, and most caring Lady, and Oh So Much Fun to be around...I can almost hear her laughter! 
She  was such a help to my mama and daddy in past years, always willing to help out when needed, and keeping mama company after daddy’s death, and especially being there with mama when my sister Donna passed away.
I treasure the times I spent with her, from the time I was a child until more recent years, 
I missed her so much when she moved to Florida, but I knew her heart was there with her son Jerry, and daughter Mary Ann..I am thankful she was able to live out her final years in such a beautiful place and with family she loved that took such good care of her.
I know she was happy.  
My condolences go out to Mary Ann and Lew..

Mama was always having fun. This photo was taken 10-31-14. She's having coffee on our back porch. Dressed for Halloween with pretties stitched on my embroidery machine. 

Mama was truly an angel to all who knew her.  In this photo she is holding embroidery pretties I stitched for her Mother's Day 2013.

This photo was taken Valentine's Day after church. The beautiful roses were sent by Mama's beloved granddaughter Cami.

Mama was my first friend and best friend. I'm so thankful God chose her to be my mother. Lew and I feel so blessed she lived with us and our fur babies. 
Each day she had a bowl of treats for them. They waited at her door when she woke, then surrounded her as she distributed their treats. Her love of family was unconditional. 

One of the finest people I have ever known and the best mother-in-law anyone could ever have. I am proud she was able to spend her last years with us and will be eternally grateful for the life lessons she shared with me. She will be greatly missed.
