Mary Elizabeth Coffman, 91, of Abilene passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018. The family will receive friends for a visitation on Sunday January 14, 2018 from 4 to 6pm at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, located at 5701 Hwy 277 South. A graveside service will be held at 11am on Monday January 15, 2018 in the Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Mary was born on September 26, 1927 in Steelville Missouri to Curtis and Edna Farrar. Mary lived in Steelville until she married Paul C. Coffman on June 8, 1941. Paul and Mary lived in Rolla, Missouri where he was a butcher and she was a homemaker.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Bea; brother, Bud; as well as her husband, Paul.
Mary is survived by her only son, Robert Paul Coffman and wife Judy; her grandson, Robbie and wife Galyn; great grandsons, Hunter, Payton and Conner as well as Russell and his wife Elaine; and a great granddaughter, Rylie Coffman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mary’s name to Meals on Wheels.
