Shirley Ann Miers was born on April 1, 1938 in Abilene, Texas to Clarence and Lorain Kauffman She passed away on June 19, 2021 in Abilene, Texas after a short illness. She is under the care of Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home.
Shirley worked for Thorton’s Department Stores for over 22 years,and was Assistant Manager at the River Oaks location for a number of years. Later she worked for Dillard’s Department store for 20 years and retired from there in 2012.
Shirley is survived by her daughter and son in law Tonya and Michael Connell of Austin, Tx.
