Funeral services celebrating her life will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025 at 10 AM at North Park Baptist Church in Abilene with Joe Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home from 6-8:00 PM.
Tammy was born in Abilene, Texas to C.V. and Dana Currie on April 02, 1963. Tammy was known for her big personality and her kind heart. She had a passion for decorating and crafting, and her favorite pastime was spending time with her husband and grandchildren.
Tammy was raised in Abilene, Texas and resided in Arlington, Texas with her husband of 18 years, Gavino Treviño, whom she married on September 05, 2007. Tammy spent over a decade working as a top sales professional in the funeral industry and finished out her career with Inmar Intelligence in Grand Prairie, Texas.
Tammy was preceded in death by her mother Dana Lee Currie, two step grandchildren, Anthony and Andrew Treviño and multiple aunt’s, uncle’s and cousin’s whom she loved dearly.
Tammy is survived by her husband, Gavino Treviño. Father, C.V. Currie. Daughter, Desiree Schmittling and spouse Robert Schmittling. Daughter, Brittany Cooper. Brother, Keith Currie. Seven grandchildren, Robert Schmittling, Chris Schmittling, Aviana Martinez, Carson Schmittling, Carlos Martinez, Layla Schmittling and Kaylani Cooper. Sister-in-law’s, Julia, Sylvia, Rosie and Sulema Treviño. Brother-in-law, Richard Treviño and spouse Yolanda. Stepchildren, Johnny, Chris, Clint, Carey and Corey Treviño. Stepson, Robert Trevino and spouse Rosalinda. Stepdaughter, Tracy Calvin and spouse, Tobias. And seven step grandchildren, Christian Treviño, Eva Treviño, Adriana Treviño, Alex Treviño, Sebastian Treviño, Brittany Rinehart and Angela Gomez.
