William Ross Britt, 63, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 in Abilene. Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 11:00a.m., today, March 28, 2014 in the Texas State Veterans Cemetery with Tex Cox officiating. We will travel in procession from Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 5701 Hwy 277 South, leaving at 10:30a.m. A memorial service will be held at 3:00p.m. at Abundant Life Christian Fellowship, 308 E. Main St., Knox City, TX.
William was born on October 19, 1950 in Gridley, California to Charles and Lois Britt. He graduated from DeVry Technical Institute and worked in electronics and TV repair. William also served his country by joining the United States Air Force, retiring as Staff Sergeant for aircraft maintenance after 8 years of service.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Kathy N. Britt; brother, Kevin Britt; and two granddaughters, Mylee Elise and Alirah Joy.
Survivors include his daughters, Brandi Britt and Brooke Andhor; his sisters, Linda and Robin; sister-in-law, Sandra Le Fevre; and a nephew, Richard Ross Ashbaugh.
