William Huff Jr.

William Huff, Jr., 63, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2012, at his residence in Abilene. Graveside services will be 2:00p.m., Wednesday, May 2, 2012 in the Texas State Veterans Cemetery under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home, 1443 N. 2nd St. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6 to 8p.m. at the funeral home.

William was born in Clarksville, TX on August 19, 1948 to Justice and Mae Young Huff. He attended Carter G. Woodson School and went to state competition for high jump. William also attended the Draughon's Business School. He served his country in the United States Air Force and was currently employed at Dyess Air Force Base as a project manager. He liked to DJ and listen to music, study and research history and loved the Dallas Cowboys.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Florence Huff and his sister, Sherri Hughes.

Survivors include his sons, Damon Huff and wife, Rosie and Justin Huff; his daughter, Shayla Huff; brothers, Van Huff and wife, Harriet and Michael Lewis; a sister, Lois Edwards and husband, Bobby; grandchildren, Xavier Flores and Jocelyn Flores; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
