Aneta Adam (née Sharamet) was born in a small Romanian village in 1932. At the age of 16, she moved to Bucharest to continue her education and build a new chapter in her life. In 1999, she made another bold journey, moving to Canada, where she spent her later years surrounded by loved ones.
Aneta was predeceased by her first husband, Corneliu (1968), her second husband, Ion (1996), her five sisters, and her beloved son Cristian (2005). She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Daniela, her grandchildren Alex, Cornel, and Nick, and her cherished great-granddaughter Sophia.
A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Aneta’s life was defined by her unwavering love for her family. She gave selflessly and always put her loved ones first. Her warm presence, sharp wit, and delicious traditional Romanian cooking—especially her famous cabbage rolls—will be deeply missed.
Aneta found joy in life’s simple pleasures, whether it was watching her favorite TV shows, enjoying visits to the casino, or sharing stories around the kitchen table.
Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
