Peacefully passed away on October 27, 2021 at Hospice Wellington with family by his side in his 77th year. Loving and devoted husband of the late Joan Papillon (2017). Cherished father of Kim (Guy) and Keri (Fitzroy). Forever loved Papa of Mackenzie, Montana, Merek and Mekhi. Dear brother-in-law to Florence Papillon and Fred Gordon, Jerry, Carl and Sandy Nicholas and Mary Jane (Bob) Brenton. Loved uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Archibald and Ida Marie Papillon and his in-laws Charles and Helen Nicholas, brothers Kenneth and Ronald Papillon and sister Pauline Gordon.
Friends will be received at MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, 55 Mill St. E., Acton, Ontario on Friday, November 5, 2021 from 5-8 p.m. As per David’s wishes Cremation has taken place. A private interment service at Fairview Cemetery for the immediate family will be held at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, and in lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Wellington or the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
