Beloved father to his sons Donald (Gerald) and David (Tracey). Predeceased by his loving wife Lydia "Marie" and brother Ron (Winnie). Dear uncle to nieces Ronna (Danny), Julie and nephew Steven.
Red had a long career with the Ford Motor Company. After his retirement he enjoyed time at the cottage, hunting deer and moose in the fall, at the Lucky Eleven Hunt Camp.
Red will be best remembered for his love of hockey which he enjoyed playing as a goalie in his younger days as well as his great love for dogs.
Cremation will take place, and a private family interment will be held. As per his wishes no service or celebration of life.
In honour of his love for dogs, memorial donations may be made to Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides, Oakville Ont.
