Douglas Murray Jackson

Douglas Murray Jackson passed on May 10, 2026, at the age of 83, in Victoria B.C. Beloved husband of his first wife the late Joan Louise Ouwendyk (2006). Devoted and loved father of Brenda and Ted Sakousky, Kathleen and Eric Edwards, and the late Glenny Jackson (1967). Cherished grandpa to Jasmine, Fenton, and Kayla Wilson. Survived by his nieces and nephews.

Douglas, affectionately known to many as "Action Jackson", lived life with energy, humour, and a genuine love for people. A highly respected car and RV salesman throughout his career in Victoria B.C. Doug had a gift for making lasting connections and known for his friendly quick wit. When he wasn't helping customers, he was often found casting a line while fishing, watching horse racing, enjoying a game of poker, or crib with his family and friends, or planning his next adventure. He loved to travel, but nothing brought him greater happiness than spending time with those he loved.

Cremation has taken place and a graveside interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery 20 Cobblehill Rd., Acton, Ontario on Monday June 15, 2026 at 1:30 PM. A celebration of life will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 197, 15 Wright Ave., Acton, ON.
