Helen Jean Gibson

Helen Jean Gibson, age 75, passed away peacefully at Brampton Civic Hospital on Sunday, January 19, 2025, with family by her side. Beloved wife of Robert for 55 years. Loving Mother of Robert Jr. (Thom Jones). Cherished grandma of Matthew (Kay) Tinney, Brandon Gibson-Jones, James Gibson-Jones (Abby), Brock Gibson-Jones, and Jaysen Gibson-Jones. Great-grandma to Quinn and Cienna Tinney.

Dear sister of George (Gail) Harris, Lynda Bud (Martin), Kenneth Harris (Lorrie), Melissa Kurpieweit, and the late Donald Harris (1995). Sister-in-law to Florence Papillon (the late Ron), David (Dianne), and Jack (Fran). Predeceased by brothers and sisters in law Irvin Gibson, Mary Hill (Charles), Donald Gibson (Dolores), Leonard Gibson (Clara), Illia Brown (Robert), Ruby Szedetzki, Evelyn Hamilton (Tom), and Howard Gibson. Survived by brother in law Tony Szedetzki, and sister in law Jessie Gibson. Helen will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Cremation will take place, a graveside inurnment will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Acton, on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at 12 noon.

A celebration of life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 197, 15 Wright Avenue, Acton, on Thursday, January 30, 2025 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, would be appreciated by the family.
