He was the beloved husband of 54 years to Linda, and a loving father to Pamela, Nicole (Jim), and Tanya (JD). He was a proud grandfather to four: Isaac (Hannah), Leah, Lucas and Nathan.
Jake is predeceased by his wife Linda (2020), son Christopher (1971) and his brother Jan and sister Ina.
He will be missed dearly by all friends and extended family, especially his best friend Jojo. Jake had a large community of friends in Georgetown, Rockwood, and Florida. His easy-going and friendly demeanor encouraged new friendships wherever he went.
A memorial service will be held at Georgetown Christian Reformed Church on Wednesday May 7, at 2:00 PM located at 11611 Trafalgar Rd, Georgetown, ON. A private interment has taken place.
