We sadly announce the passing of Jeanne Christine Abela, age 77, of Acton, Ontario on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at Georgetown Hospital. Beloved wife of John Abela for 57 years. Cherished mother of Christine Wile (Brett), Louise Jean Abela and Anne Moreland (Jeff). Grandmother to Jacob, Dylan, Ellis, Jenna and Hayden and aunt of Anita Maw and Duncan Viragos. Predeceased by her parents George and Christina Brewer and her older brother George Brewer Jr.
Throughout her younger years Jeanne was a model, a mother and in the 1980’s began her career as a security guard at Brampton Memorial Hospital and then at Pearson Int’l Airport as a supervisor.
As per Jeanne's wishes, cremation will take place, and a private family memorial service will be held.
