For those that knew her, this was appropriate. She loved nature, the great outdoors and getting in her car to go anywhere.
Margaret was born in Toronto to Harry and Margaret (Turner) Beettam. She is predeceased by her parents, her brother Robert Beettam and the triplet girls Alice Raaflaub (Doug), Beatrice Scarlett (the late Gord) and Carol Tough (Alan). She is survived by nine nieces and nephews.
She started her career in Toronto with the CBC and enjoyed volunteering with Girl Guides and Nature groups. She enjoyed her cottage at Eagle Lake. When she retired, she moved to Acton and spent many years researching cemeteries and news articles to do tracking of families and history.
In keeping with Margaret's wishes, there is no funeral service. Thank you to everyone who helped to support her stay in her home until this spring. She had great neighbours and friends!
