I am so sorry to hear that your mother has passed.  She sang at our wedding and had such an amazing gift of her voice.  I hope that your happiest memories will prevail to help you in the days ahead.

I (Cliff) have many fond memories of the time spent with your family on the 4th line and throughout the years—playing hockey on the pond, sharing meals or snacks when invited, or simply hanging out with Pete. Your mother always welcomed me with open arms, a warm smile, and a caring heart even when she may have thought that I was not the best influence on Peter.  LOL

Gabriela was just recalling the other day how, no matter the occasion, if Marie was there, she would always take the time to greet her with genuine warmth and engage in heartfelt conversation. Marie had a special gift for making others feel seen and valued, always offering a kind word. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

I have so many memories from childhood of musical nights with all those who played instruments out in the garage and your Mom singing; the big reunions in the yard of their beautiful house; your Mom singing at my Mom’s (Frances) service, beautiful; the devotion and strength of lifting her voice for Uncle Johnny at his service, stunning. She was such a beautiful soul and meant so much to so many. I am so so sorry that she is gone. God Bless her and bring you comfort.

I remember booking your Mom & Dad on their 25th Anniversary to Hawaii when I worked at Tyler Travel.  I would run into your Mom periodically in town and we'd catch up a little.
