Norman Douglas Gerrard

He was the loving and much loved husband of Jennifer and the proud and caring father of Ashley and Jessica.

He is survived by his “mom and dad” – Gail and Reubin and Jennifer’s parents, Lorraine Johnson and Greg Ledoux.

He will be missed by his sisters, Debbie Greer, Jeanie Pattison (Bruce) and Laura Gerrard, as well as many nieces and nephews and all of his friends at the Cobblehill Homes Co-op. Doug was and will be remembered as a very proud member of Local 27 of the Carpenters and Allied Workers Union.

The family will receive friends at the MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, 55 Mill Street East, Acton, Ontario,

on Thursday, February 16th, 2012 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

Friends are invited to meet the family at St. Alban-the-Martyr Anglican Church, 19 St. Alban’s Drive, Acton

where the funeral to celebrate Doug’s life will be conducted by the Rev. Brian Galligan on Friday, February 17th at 1:30 p.m.

The interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.

In view of allergies, the family request no flowers. A donation to Cancer Assistance Services of Halton Hills

would be appreciated by the family.
