He was a loving father to Trevor and his wife Heather of Milton and the cherished grandfather of Christopher and Caitlin.
Roy was predeceased by his father Walter and is survived by his mother Gwendolyn of Happy Valley, Newfoundland, his sister Winnifred and her husband Sheldon Chubbs of Happy Valley, Newfoundland, his sister Sandra and her husband Elmer Andrews of Conception Bay South, Newfoundland,
his brother Hector and his wife Ruby of Conception Bay South, Newfoundland
and his sister Lynn Dawe and her husband Conrad Schultz of Stouffville, Ontario.
The family will receive friends at the MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, 55 Mill Street East, Acton, on Friday, November 9th, 2007 from 2 to 4 in the afternoon and 7 to 9 in the evening.
Remembrances to The Canadian Cancer Society (Acton Branch) would be appreciated by the family.
