So sad to learn of Randy's passing. My sincere condolences to the family that I member so well, for so many years, growing up in the same neighborhood.  Rest in peace Randy you are now in the arms of your loving Dad and Mom.

You couldn’t ask for a better friend and neighbour than Randy. We shared many coffees in the morning on our back deck and listened to some very “entertaining” stories of his younger days. Randy was a skilled carpenter and our kitchen is proof.  He put in our skylights, took out a few walls, nailed down the trim and so much more. When Jim was in the hospital (for many weeks), Randy looked after mowing our lawns and helped out in any way he could. He checked in regularly to make sure I was okay. He knew Jim was missing our dog, Crosby, and the hospital wouldn’t allow dogs, so Randy came with me to the hospital. He stayed outside with Crosby while I went in and brought Jim out in a wheelchair. Randy did things he saw needed doing, and he did so without waiting to be asked. When I set off the smoke alarm (at the top of our cathedral ceiling!) and couldn’t shut it off, Randy trudged over with his extra long ladder, climbed up and shut it off. These are just a few of Randy’s many acts of kindness. Family was very important to Randy and his legacy of goodness will live on in his children and grandchildren.

Here we are quite a few years later at Mom’s 89 th bday celebration,, so happy we were together for that as she passed away a month later ,, miss you already ,, love you ,, RIP x o love from your sister ,,

Randy here we are at uncle Don wedding in 1971 ,,we were so excited to go to the wedding ,, we all looked so spiffed up ,, I remember my dress ❤️ looking back at these pics sure make me sad ,, and happy all the same time ,, x o

Debbie, we were shocked and saddened when you told us Randy had passed away.  Randy was “one of a kind” and a dear friend and wonderful neighbour of ours, for 37 years.  We will miss him so much.  He was kind, generous and did so many things to help Jim and me.  Jim and I and kids and grandkids, send sincere condolences to you, Lucas, Trevor and Kendra, their spouses and your 3 grandchildren, who Randy adored.  His face would light up when he talked about them. He truly loved being a Grampa. He will be missed.  Debbie, please remember that we are just next door, if you need anything.
