Stephen Leslie Zions

It is with immense grief that the family of Stephen Leslie Zions announces his unexpected passing on August 28th, 2026, at the age of 57 in Toronto, Ontario. Stephen was a deeply loved Son, Father, Brother, Uncle and Friend who strived to make everyone he knew laugh and smile. No matter the day or circumstance, he had an infectious happiness that effortlessly lit up every room he entered. He is predeceased by his loving parents, John and Marie Claire Zions (Emmerson). He is survived by his daughter Alexis (Andrew), his siblings Peter (Lynn), Julie (Don), Linda (Wade), many nieces and nephews, Kathleen mother of his daughter (Alexis), and best friends Dominique, Jeff, and Coco.

Stephen was born in Georgetown, Ontario and raised in Acton, Ontario. Growing up Stephen walked his own path. His high energy meant he lived life at full speed, a trait that brought him many adventures. Stephen always loved sports, especially baseball, a true Toronto Blue Jays fan through and through. Some of his fondest moments were spent cheering on the team, proudly wearing the double blue, and sharing the excitement of the game with loved ones. He had a knack for memorizing player stats and was ridiculously good at pool. His enthusiastic and unwavering spirit will live on with every opening pitch and stadium cheer.
