It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tom Furzer on January 1 at the age of 85 at his home in Acton, Ontario. Tom was born in Baillieston, Scotland to Christina and George Furzer in 1940, in 1968 he and his then wife Elza Furzer (Scott) immigrated to Canada, they have 2 children Fiona Furzer Green (late Richard) and Gordon Scott Furzer (Shannon). Tom was a proud Grandpa/Papa to Sydney, Grace, Stuart, Geneen and Graeme Furzer of Acton and Riana and Ethan Green of Whitby, Ontario. Tom enjoyed his many friends throughout his life especially good friend Kathy Summers. A celebration of Tom's life will be held at a later date on the Isle of Arran, Scotland where friends and family will gather.
