A lifelong Akron resident, he graduated from Buchtel High School. Loving husband of June. Dear father of Frederick David “Butch”, Charles Lewis II “Chick” and Robyn Charlene Bowen and Rhonda Marlene Krunich. Proud grandfather of 7 and great-grandfather of eleven. Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Rosella.
Charles was an avid rider and loved karaoke.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 2, 12 Noon at the CATAVOLOS FUNERAL HOME 3653 W. Market St. Fairlawn, where family will receive friends from 10am until time of services. Burial will be at Rose Hill Burial Park.
One thing can be said, Chuck Bowen did it his way.
