Chet was born to Chester and Irene Eldredge on June 1, 1936. Chet was raised in Akron and graduated from Buchtel High School in 1954. Chet retired from the Goodyear Fire Department after thirty years of dedicated service.
Chet was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather. Chet enjoyed camping, boating and car racing during his life. Chet married Mary (Becky) Sullivan in 1996 and they enjoyed a loving marriage until Chet’s passing.
Chet is survived by his wife Becky, daughter Debbie Luft, daughter Dana (Bill) Dishman, son Tom fiancée (Elzbieta) Eldredge and daughter Loree (Scott) Runkle. Chet is also survived by sister-in-law Debi Adams, nieces Amy (Tim) Drabinski and Melissa Rizzi (Steven Rozycki) along with stepson Jeremy Macki. Also surviving Chet are fifteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren.
Chet was preceded in death by his beloved granddaughter Kristi Walkley in February 2023.
Chet loved his family, his family loved him and he truly believed that he had the greatest family ever.
