Doris was born January 13, 1931 in Wayne, West Virginia to the late Dewey and Dorothy (Carey) Watts. She was the oldest child of six and grew up in West Virginia.
Doris enjoyed cooking and was very proficient at making delicious Biscuits and Gravy.
Besides her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her siblings, Danny Watts, Dewey Raymond Watts Jr, Della C. Troutline, and Dori Elaine "Bootsy" Paris.
She is survived by her brother Charles "Monk" Watts, her sister Donna Holt, her son Darrell W. Casteele, her grandson Christopher Casteele, her granddaughter Stacey (Greg) Robinson, and great-granddaughter Reagan Robinson.
A Memorial Service will be held at Rose Hill Funeral Home & Burial Park, 3653 W Market St, Akron, Ohio 44333, on May 28, 2026, at 1:00 pm. where Doris will be laid to rest.
