Beloved husband of Betty J for 60 years.
Preceded in death by his sister Alice DeCicco and parents Alma and Ernst.
Ernest graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy and served in the Merchant Marines during WWII. Prior to the war he worked on Cargo Ships and has been around the world three times. Ernest came to Akron and worked for 5 years with Babcock & Wilcox. He retired after 23 years with Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co in the Central Engineering Dept. his duties took him to four different countries, Sweden, Northern Ireland, France, and Taiwan.

Funeral Service will be Wednesday, May 11th at 1:00 PM, family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until time of service in the Catavolos Funeral Home 3653 W Market St Fairlawn OH. Entombment Rose Hill Burial Park.
