Gordon was born on September 3, 1955 in Cambridge, Ohio to the late Donald E. and Betty (Couts) Wolff. Originally from Newcomerstown, he attended Kent State University, where he was a member of Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity.
Gordon was a member of Holy Family Parish, a keen outdoorsman, Scoutmaster and Wood Badge recipient.
Gordon is survived by his wife, Darlene (Ash); his daughter Cassandra (Wolff) Stiefel, his son Steven Wolff, his grandsons, Logan and Xander Moore; and 3 siblings, Deborah (Kenneth) Schweitzer, Rory (Debbie) Wolff, and Darlene J. Wolff.
Friends may call 11am - 12 noon Thursday, November 20th at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 3653 W. Market St. in Akron. Funeral service will begin at 12:00pm with a light lunch following. Family is welcome to stay for entombment in Rose Hill Burial Park.
