We miss you mom. You were a true lady in every sense. You never spoke ill of anyone. You were a wonderful caring and resourceful mother. You sewed our clothes, baked koulouria, and took us to church every Sunday as dad went to meet the Greek men at Jack Horners. You never complained about holiday poker games and elaborate family get togethers. You were always a perfect hostess and homemaker. You had a schedule for house duties. You made homemaking a profession and an occupation, not just a label. You painted and wallpapered the whole house, from porch to basement. You even found time to roller skate with us. You were a wonderful role model for a good Christian woman.
You were a Great wife, Mother to 3 daughters; Grandmother to 6, plus Kiwi. Great grandmother to 13.
You were right when you stated, “One mother can take of 7 children, but 7 children can’t take care of one mother.”
