A driven and independent woman, Jo Ann built a successful career as a paralegal at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. in Akron, Ohio. After retiring, she pursued her passion for beauty and wellness by opening Exclusively Jo Ann, a cosmetic salon where she touched the lives of many with her creativity.
Jo Ann had a zest for life and a strong dedication to health and fitness. She was an avid runner and loved going to the gym, staying active well into her later years.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Marty Tackovich; her cherished son, Randy Tackovich; her parents, John and Lena Greer; and her brothers, Dwight and Ron Greer.
She is survived by her loving sisters: Dimple Beck-Battista (Frank), The Villages, Fl., Wanda Brown (Jerry), Summerfield, Fl. and Judy Matthews (Dan), The Villages, Fl. who were by her side in her final days, along with loving care givers Deysi and Trinidad. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Cindy Tackovich, grandson Michael (Jessie), granddaughter Tabitha Davis, three great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren all of Akron, Ohio. Many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at the Rose Hill Funeral Home, 3653 W. Market St Akron, Ohio on Tuesday, May 13 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM followed by the burial.
