Gloria, I am sorry for your loss.  I am so glad Charlene and I got to visit with Michael and you a few years ago and get reacquainted after so many decades absence.  The brief visit was a blessing for me and I believe, judging from his reaction, that it also was for Michael.  I changed one of my computer passwords to PALKO to remember Michael.

My condolences to Mrs. Gloria Palko and all of the Palko family.  Mr. Palko was my Biology teacher, and also one of my favorite teachers at St. V-M.  He was intelligent, competent, funny, kind, and caring.  My life was made better by his dedication to teaching.  Well done, Michael, rest in peace.

It was my honor to know him!  He was such a great biology teacher and was really one of my favorite teachers. I enjoyed going to the Ohio State Fair with him too!. He was such a kind person and always tried to smile.
