

Preceded in death by her grandparents Paul and Angela DeMaio.
Survived by her parents Russell and Cindy, her siblings Russ Jr and Erika, grandparents William and Anne Ferguson, Uncle Jimmy, and Aunt Renee.
Rachel attended Hoban High School and served as the captain of the Freshman volleyball team, then transferred to Woodridge High School where she continued her love of playing volleyball. She loved her many groups of friends who remember her as a loving and caring person always putting others first. Rachel’s love of the ocean will always be in our hearts. Her love of God and her faith were a big part of who she was.
The love, care, and advice she received from her big brother, Russ Jr and sister Erika, and the love and care from her grandparents will always be remembered.
Family wishes to thank all of her friends who have visited and shared stories and memories, we know she will be greatly missed by all of you.
Special thanks to Tom and the girls at Village Gardens for putting her to work and teaching her so much. Great amount of appreciation to Lisa Zoldesy and her entire family. Much love and appreciation to my special sister Jules Sekeres and family.
Rachel will be greatly missed by her mother and father and who loved her “to the moon and back”.
