He was a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, MO. He retired from The General Tire and Rubber Company of Akron, Ohio as their Marketing Manager.
Beloved husband, father, grandfather and great- grandfather, he leaves his wife Joyce, daughter Lynn Meyer, son Ralph Meyer (Sharon), grandchildren Shannon Myers (Joshua) and Mark Shaw (Bobbi), great-grandchildren Hayleigh, Joshua Jr., and Noah Myers.
There will be a private family service.
