Robert was a proud veteran serving in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He worked for many years at Hunnell Electric as an electric motor repairman.
Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, camping and playing chess. He was mechanically minded and enjoyed tinkering.
Robert is survived by his wife, the former Kathryn Toris, his daughter Betty (Allan) Hartman, two grandsons, Adam (Mackenzie) Hartman and Collin Hartman.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial service at 6PM, Thursday, January 2nd at the Rose Hill Funeral Home, 3653 W. Market St. in Akron with Chaplain Don Bolich.
