

Born in Akron OH and lifelong resident of Bath Township, he dedicated his life to his wife Penny, son David and his community. Bill enjoyed weekends at the cottage with his family, caring for his home he built, fishing, wood-working and wildlife.
He served his country in the United States Air Force teaching weapons and served his community delivering mail with the USPS and keeping the streets safe with the Bath Police Department where he volunteered with the fire department, patrolled with his fellow officer's and ultimately retired as the Chief of Police.
Bill Gravis was a well-loved, honorable and memorable man. He is preceded in death by his parents Dorothy and Oliver Gravis, wife Virginia "Penny" Gravis, son David Gravis, brother Donald Gravis and is survived by his close friends and family the Wollet family, Bosshard family and Hastings family.
Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 27th from 4:00 – 6:00 PM with a Memorial Service following at 6:00 PM in the Catavolos Funeral Home 3653 W Market St. Fairlawn, Ohio.
