Carl Thomas Bishop

He was born September 17th, 1932, at Savannah, GA, a son of Horace and Mary Katherine (Hyatt) Bishop. He married Sandra Compton August 17th, 1959 in Moncks Corner, SC, and she preceded him in death in 2007. He was a retired veteran of US Navy. Carl also worked and retired from AMF/Roadmaster in Olney.

He was an avid sports fan who loved the Indiana Hoosiers, Chicago Cubs, basketball, football, golf, and was a major fan of Edward County Sports program. He also loved his family dearly.

Carl is survived by a daughter Kathy Emge of Albion, 3 sons R-Dale (Jackie) Compton, Robert (Kathy) Bishop, Jason (Erica) Bishop all of Albion, grandchildren Ryan (Jessica) Compton, Ashley (Marty) Carman, Whitley Emge, Vance Emge, Ally Bishop, Chloe, Gus and Grace Bishop, Katie Compton, great grandchildren Kathryn, Sandra, Tyrus and Kennedy Compton, Taeton, Azariah and Lydia Carman, Mia and Liam Emge, sister-in-law Evelyn Compton of Albion and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and 2 brothers.

Services will be held 2pm Sunday December 14th, 2014 at Ingram Funeral Home in Albion. Burial in Graceland Cemetery with full Military Rites. Visitation will be from noon until service time Sunday. All arrangements are being handled by Ingram Funeral Home in Albion, Illinois.
