

On Tuesday, August 23, 2016, DENNIS DUANE FARMER, 64 of Albion, Michigan, transitioned from the care of his loved ones on this side of heaven to the hands of his loved ones who passed before him. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Sharon; his sister, Cheryl (Herbert) Fox; his children Terry Michael (Deborah), Jamie (Melissa), Arron, Daniel (Caitlin) Farmer; his grandchildren Ashley, Kian, Nicholas, Alec, Franklin (Frankie), Darren, Kassandra, Eric, with another grandchild due in November and a great-grandchild due in October; and together with a host of relatives and friends. Dennis was preceded in death by his mother, Verna (Amsler) Farmer, his father, Milo Farmer, Sr., brother, Milo Farmer, Jr., sister, Jeannette Bushong, and grand-daughter, Kitri Mai Farmer.
Dennis was proud to serve his country, serving in the US Marine Corps for four years. Dennis for many years was the Maintenance Man at Lincolnshire Homes, and worked for both the Parks Department and the Street Department at the City of Albion. While at the Parks Department he built the river wall along the Kalamazoo River at Reiger Park and was known as the guy who swept the streets of Albion. Everyone who knew him knows that he took great pride in a job well done .
We will all miss Dennis so very much.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, August 26, 2016 from 5 – 8PM at the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, Michigan 49224. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 27th at 11:00AM with a visitation starting at 10:00AM at the funeral home with Pastor Robert Bolton officiating. Interment will follow at West Eckford Cemetery, Marshall.
