Elsie Carol Bieskie

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Elsie Carol Bieskie of Albion, Michigan. She was

born in Albion, MI on August 18, 1938 and passed away on January 4, 2022 at Borgess Hospital

in Kalamazoo at the age of 83. She married Kenneth Bieskie on April 20, 1957 in Auburn, IN. She was

preceded in death by her parents William Neufer and Annabelle (Settler) Neufer; her brother Roger

Neufer and sister Mary Anne Wildt; three infant children, two daughters Kathleen Ann and

Teresa Dawn and a son, Kenneth Bieskie Jr.

She is survived by her brother Donnie Neufer, son David Bieskie, daughter Diana (Mike) LeBlanc;

her grandchildren Amanda (Bruce) Bieskie, Lindsey and Kiley Bieskie; two great grandchildren

Luke Hamilton and Joshua Fifield; special nieces Susie Michael, Paula Wiel and Rita Few;

special friends Barbara Benavidez, Bill Kiersey and Cookie King.

She was a lifelong member of the Albion VFW and American Legion. She enjoyed cooking

fabulous meals for her family and spending quality time with them. She worked at Miller’s

Ice Cream store as the manager and as the bookkeeper at the Albion College bookstore for

20 years before retiring in 2008. She loved going to the casino with her sister Mary and nieces

Susie and Paula. Playing Bingo was her passion.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family to assist with the funeral expenses.

According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time.
