Fred D. Wright

He was born September 17, 1926 in Benton Harbor, Michigan to Albert and Hattie (Cook) Wright. He married Dorothy Paulding who preceded him in death.

Fred lived his entire life in Albion. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church as well as the Albion Goodwill Choir. He enjoyed fishing, was a great supportive

uncle to his nieces and nephews. Fred traveled extensively with Hilda Miller with the Goodwill Choir under Director Mrs. Willa Pierson. He was one of the original founding members of the choir.

During his Military time, he was an active member of the American Theatre. He was in Active Service from March of 1945 to October 1946.

The family would like to give special Thanks to Steve and Bonnie Williamson for being such caring and supportive neighbors.

Fred is survived by:

Daughters- Rochelle Gilliard and Patricia Johnson

Several Grandchildren

Numerous nieces and nephews

Fred was preceded in death by his parents, wife Dorothy, siblings, Cecil Wright, Albert Wright Jr., Leroy Wright, Alberta Wright, James Wright, Walter Wright,

Hilda Wright-Miller.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 12:00PM at Bethel

Baptist Church, 523 Washington Street, Albion, Michigan 49224 with Pastor Fred Alexander officiating, beginning family hour at 11:00AM at the church.

Arrangements entrusted to J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion.
