

Guadalupe (Tito) Solis was born in Brownsville TX Feb 6th 1948. Tito was a Vietnam Navy Veteran and sailed aboard U.S.S. America while serving during the war. He served on ship and land from November 7th 1968 to October 26th 1970. After returning home he received certificates from Kellogg Community College and Jackson Community College in Landscape and gardening as well as damage control and firefighting.
Tito had a lengthy GM career starting in December of 1984 in Lansing, MI and retiring on April 1, 2009 from the Spring Hill, TN plant. He was a proud UAW Local 1853 member for those years and beyond as well.
Tito leaves behind his beloved wife Marie Ann Solis, whom was the apple of his eye and his main subject in many of the pictures he took of family and friends. He also leaves behind siblings Abelardo Jr., Yolanda, and Gracie. His children Tony and Travis. His grandchildren Alyssa, Sophia, Skylar and Travis Fredrick. Tito was a loving and dedicated family man, and his service to family, friends and neighbors will never be forgotten.
He will be dearly missed on earth but will forever live in the hearts of many.
His family will celebrate his life on Monday, May 9, 2022 beginning with visitation at 12PM until the time of service at 1PM at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Dr., Albion. He will be laid to rest with full military honors immediately following in Albion Memory Gardens.
