Proud Vietnam veteran, Jerrold Carl Daniels of Parma, MI passed away peacefully on June 8, 2014 at Allegiance Hospital. He was born in Eaton Rapids, Eaton Co., MI on Oct. 13, 1948 to Robert James and Bernice Arlene Chapman Daniels.
He is survived by his son, Derek Daniels of Lansing, MI; two brothers, Lee (Lynn) of Hooks, TX; and Jim (Beth) Daniels of Gladwin, MI.; several nieces and nephews and special friend, Laura Multhauf. He was preceded in death by his parents and his twin brother, John Daniels.
Jerry graduated from Springport in 1968. He joined the army in 1969 serving in Vietnam with the 62nd SIG CO, 37th BN. After his discharge he joined the U.S. Army Reserves. Jerry had been employed at Tompkins-Johnson, Parma DPW, and J.T. Repair.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 13, 2014 at Fairview Cemetery, Parma, MI with Chaplain Brenda Walters officiating. Military Honors to be performed by the Concord-Pulaski Memorial American Legion Post #81. Per his wishes cremation has taken place.
