

Joyce Ann Shultz age 83 of Parma passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, July 5, 2021 under the loving care of her family and Southern Care Hospice. She was born August 12, 1937 in Marshall the daughter of Milo and Clara (Wagner) Lazarus. She married Richard Shultz on November 16, 1953 and he preceded her in death on June 28, 2005. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Shultz in 1955, both her parents, and siblings: Donna Dearth, Doris McKenzie, Gary Lazarus and Roland Lazarus.
Joyce was a social butterfly who was always open for a conversation with anyone she met; she would make quick friends wherever she went. She also opened her home to anyone who needed it, housing several people over the years. She loved music, especially oldies and country western and loved to dance and dress up with lots of bling. Most of all though, she found the greatest joy in her family. She cherished every holiday and family get together. When she could no longer get around, the family parties came to her. She will be dearly missed.
Joyce leaves to cherish her memory her 4 daughters: Kathryn (David) Hawkins, Misty Walling, Sabina (William Eagan) Shultz, Janette Shultz; grandchildren: Jessica Hall, Aaron Hawkins, Gabe Walling, Melissa Walling, Angela Wellman, Duane J. Wellman III, Alicia Wellman, 16 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, brother, William (Judy) Lazarus and numerous extended family and friends.
Joyce’s family will celebrate her life with a memorial service on Saturday, July 10, 2021 with visitation at 2PM until the time of service at 3PM at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Dr., Albion.
