Judy was a loving wife and mother to three daughters, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She graduated from Charlotte High School and then attended Wright Beauty Academy in Battle Creek. She worked at Marino’s where she met the love of her life, Ron. They lived and raised their family in Albion.
Judy’s happiest moments were spent with her family. She loved to spend time at their cabin up north where the extended family likes to vacation. She also loved to watch her birds while sitting in her backyard filled with flowers, read, knit, bake, play cards, and her dog, Meeko.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Kolodica; daughters, Ronda (John) Sullivan, Robin (Phillip) Spencer, and Renee (Bill) Foster; grandchildren, Matthew (Jennifer) Sullivan, Justin Sullivan, Becca (Bryan Goddard) Spencer, Megan (Matt Wildt) Spencer, Logan Foster, and Lucas Foster; great-grandchildren, Bentlee and Skylar Sullivan, Blake Clark, and Brinley Goddard.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Arland Hammond and Edna (Zanger) Hammond.
A visitation for Judy will take place on Friday, September 13, 2024 from 11:00AM – 1:00PM at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, MI 49224. A private burial will take place at Albion Memory Gardens.
