Loretta Miller

Loretta was a strong-willed woman who loved to be on the go. She enjoyed chatting and socializing. She never missed a Detroit Tigers baseball game, even carrying around a hand held radio to listen so she didn’t miss the action. She liked to bowl, play Bingo, and loved collecting Cardinal birds.

She is survived by her children: Cheryl (Bud) Connor of Martin, TN, Roxanne Ellsworth of Hillsdale, MI, Ronald C. (Jenny) Miller of Tavares, FL, Sheila Miller of Homer, MI, Jill (Andrew) Richards of Tavares, FL; sister, Maxine Yeager of Homer, MI, as well as, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, great-great-great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Joyce Miller, parents, Sherman and Roxie (Hackworth) Risner; sisters, Vinetta Hackworth, Juanita Brown, Roberta Owens, Doris Owens, and Rubina Risner; granddaughter, Carolyn Connor, and great-granddaughter, Sierra Ellsworth.

A visitation for Loretta will be held on Monday, March 09, 2026, from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Dr. Albion, MI 49224. A funeral service will take place the following day, Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 11:00am at Christ Apostolic Church, 501 N. Superior St. Albion, MI. Parking and entrance will be in the rear of the church. She will be laid to rest at Albion Memory Gardens.
