Lori K (Nickerson) LaFountain

Lori was born in Tokyo Japan to William Nickerson and Sally (Durfee) Gibson.

She married Doug LaFountain on May 29th, 1987 and they were always together.

Lori was a homemaker, working in fast food places from time to time.

Lori absolutely loved kayaking and a good bonfire. She enjoyed hanging out with close friends and just enjoying life. She enjoyed music and recently saw Bob Seger as a “ bucket list” item in June.

Lori was preceded in death by her grandson Kaden LaFountain, father William Nickerson, step father Maynard “ Gibby” Gibson, nephew Joshua Nickerson, husband Doug LaFountain, Step daughter Crystal LaFountain and brother Bob Nickerson.

Lori is survived by her children, Anna (Tony) Mellow, Cody LaFountain; step- son, Doug LaFountain; brothers, Mike NIckerson, Patrick( Amber) Gibson, Kevin Gibson; grandchildren, Ashley Guerrero, Kaleb Brunner, Riley LaFountain, Garrett Mellow; nephews, Joseph Nickerson and Jacob Nickerson; niece, Hunter Gibson and 2 great grandchildren Grace and Dalton.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 26, 2019 at the B.E Henry building (top level) 615 South Marshall Street, Marshall, Michigan from 1:00 -4:00 PM with a bonfire to follow at her daughters house.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Non-Profit organization or Wildlife’s 2nd Chance Rescue.
