Louia Ivanski

Louia D. Ivanski age 95 of Albion passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at Medilodge of Marshall. She was born March 13, 1928 in Albion the daughter of Luke and Louia (Wilcox) Kracko. She was preceded in death by both her parents.

On October 2, 1954, Louia was united in marriage to Frank Ivanski in Albion and he preceded her in death on September 28, 2003.

Louia was a 1947 graduate of Washington Gardner High School and began her employment as a payroll clerk at Union Steel in Albion later working in data processing. She was also a member of St. John Catholic Church in Albion.

Louia is the last surviving member of her small family and is survived by a few distant nieces and nephews as well as close friends and caregivers, Claude and Lois Wireman and very close friend, Wilma Bahr, Greg Jenell and Brayden Handshoe all of Albion.

Per her wishes, there will be a graveside service on Friday, May 26, 2023 at 11AM celebrated by Father Joe Gray of St. John Parish at Riverside Cemetery, Albion where she will be laid to rest next to her husband, Frank.
