Lynda, or “Lynny” as she was lovingly called by family and friends, was the oldest daughter of Pastor William E. and Carol J. Lauterbach (Webber) who preceded her in death. She was born on January 31st, 1958 in Sikeston, MO. Lynda was a 1976 graduate of Albion High School. She married the love of her life, Jimmy Hunter, and together they formed a family and was a loving wife and mother. Jimmy preceded her in death.
Lynny couldn’t wait for each October to end, because November 1st was the beginning of the Christmas season for her. That’s the day she would start her extensive, seasonal home decorating routine. Lynny was also one of those unique individuals who received more pleasure from the giving of gifts, than the receiving. She loved shopping for that “special gift” for each friend and family member. She was so very kind and generous, and always willing to help people in need. She had a heart of gold.
If you knew Lynny, you also knew about her love for collecting cow knick-knacks, dishes and her love for blue and white decor. It was truly a lifelong passion!
Surviving is brother, William E. Lauterbach, Jr. and sisters Kristi Sue Fitts and Bethany McArthur, beloved children: Jeremiah James Hunter and Jessica Lyn Hunter.
Cremation has taken place and no funeral services are planned at this time.
