
Maria Antonia Lopez, age 75 of Albion passed away Monday, October 31, 2011 at her residence. She was born in 1936 to Guadalupe and Maria Ortiz in Brownsville, Texas. In 1956 she married Manuel S. Lopez who survives.
Maria had worked at McGraw- Edison, Yankees and the Royal Café before opening the Lopez Taco House with her husband in 1975. She was a member of the St. John’s and Guadalupe Group Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening, bowling, singing at Church and she self-taught herself to play the guitar.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Abel and grandson Jose Manuel Lopez
Visitation for family and friends will be Monday, November 7, 2011 from 10:00 A. M. – 12:00 P.M. at St. John Catholic Church, 1020 Irwin Ave, Albion. Funeral Mass will be Monday, November 7, 2011 at 12:00 P.M. (Noon) at the church with Father Joe Gray officiating. .
