Roger L. Grable

Roger LaVerne Grable age 72 of Battle Creek, MI passed away Thursday, August 8, 2024 at the Boyer Home under the loving care of the staff there. He was born April 29, 1952 in Marshall the son of Edward and Helen (Freiny) Grable and they preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Lois Clemens and a nephew, Heath Pelow.

Roger thoroughly loved all of his family. He also enjoyed receiving mail, going on outings and loved animals. Despite his limited physical abilities, he loved beyond measure and enjoyed even the small things life had to offer. Because he was so loving, giving people who visited small gifts brought him great joy. He will be lovingly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Roger leaves to cherish his memory, two sisters, Marilyn (Marlow) Pelow-Kesson, Elaine (John) Marisch, brother, Edward (Charlotte) Grable, a special cousin, Nancy Kellogg; nieces and nephews: Edward G. (fiancée, Amanda) Grable III, Ellen (Andy) Dzierzyc, Alexandria Harris, Lynette (Brian) Larkins, Julie (Bart Burke) Marisch, Christina (Jim) Dani, John Adam (Jenni) Marisch, Elsa (Marco) Reyna, Molly (Jesse) Feree, Malea (Adam) Hanagan, Lisa (Scott) Stewart, Tim (Kim) Eishen, Tracy (Matt) Buchanan and several great nieces, great nephews, extended family and friends.

A celebration of life luncheon for Roger will be Friday, August 16, 2024 at 1PM with a light lunch following at Eckford Community Center, 8938 Marshall-Homer Rd., Homer, MI.

Roger will be laid to rest following cremation in Fairview Cemetery in Homer, MI
